The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the shooting.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and he or she was just crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I think every little thing came to actuality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her pals and classmates have been also targeted.

Rivera mentioned that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah acquired some blood and put it on herself so she may fake she was dead," said Rivera. "It's too much for me to play that scene over and over again, but that is what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she noticed her good friend full of blood and he or she obtained blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her back," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, said the household is rallying round Miah to help her recover bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we just have to hope and ask God to assist us move ahead by way of this example, I know it is traumatizing as it is," said Rivera.

Almost everybody in the town of Uvalde has been touched by the lack of somebody within the mass taking pictures at Robb Elementary School, residents are supporting each other as they start coping with the tragedy.
