TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in prison for touring to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, based on officers.

The U.S. Division of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two totally different instances in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Court records say he flew forwards and backwards disguising himself as an English teacher.

A number of the boys, in keeping with the DOJ, had been lured with guarantees of cash and presents. Others introduced him as their English instructor.

The Tampa Bay News says Homeland Safety investigated the case in Tampa and in Ho Chi Minh City. It was a part of Challenge Secure Childhood, which was an effort to find little one sex abuse began in 2006 by the DOJ.

“The legal guidelines of the United States will still catch as much as little one predators who even journey to international international locations to sexually abuse minor kids. Day pleaded responsible to two counts of journey with intent to interact in illicit sexual conduct and two counts of tried coercion and enticement of a minor into illegal sexual activity, in accordance with the DOJ. Day has been sentenced to life in prison.
