Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the automobile. Both were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in secure situation, officers said. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
