Teen arrested after mom observed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of companies responded to a middle college in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty round 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area together with several different agencies in an try to search out him.
The teen was found close to the college’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old could be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no threat made to the school or anybody inside the school.
O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty was briefly placed on lockout on account of the incident.
