A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news release from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Trustworthy geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison reside at the park, and so they have injured more folks than every other animal, the park stated.
When the customer got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park mentioned.
The girl had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks had been also close to the animal when it gored the lady, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say in the event that they were injured.
The park warned individuals to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the very least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
