Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten rasch den Wert einer nahmen Listung in Serps und recht bald entstanden Behörde, die sich auf die Besserung spezialisierten. In Anfängen bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Antritt oft zu der Transfer der URL der richtigen Seite an die vielfältigen Internet Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetpräsenz auf den Webserver der Search Engine, wo ein 2. Anwendung, der sogenannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu ähnlichen Seiten). Die damaligen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die mit den Webmaster sogar existieren worden sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Eindruck via Content einer Seite, doch stellte sich bald hervor, dass die Benutzung er Details nicht vertrauenswürdig war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Vorführung des Seiteninhalts spiegeln kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Websites bei einzigartigen Brauchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller diverse Merkmale in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite größer in den Resultaten gelistet wird.[3] Da die damaligen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Faktoren dependent waren, die bloß in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr vulnerabel für Missbrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um tolle und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in den Resultaten zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Operatoren der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Gegebenheiten adjustieren. Weil der Gewinn einer Anlaufstelle davon abhängig ist, besondere Suchresultate zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten ungünstige Ergebnisse dazu führen, dass sich die Mensch nach anderen Möglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umblicken. Die Antwort der Suchmaschinen im Netz vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Positionierung, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur kompliziert steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin gestalteten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Yahoo – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Suchsystem basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Unterseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Auch alternative Suchmaschinen im Internet bezogen zu Beginn der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. als der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Bing
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
