Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten unmittelbar den Wert einer bevorzugten Listung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald fand man Betrieb, die sich auf die Besserung qualifizierten. In den Anfängen vollzogen wurde der Antritt oft bezüglich der Übertragung der URL der entsprechenden Seite an die divergenten Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Betrachtung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webpräsenz auf den Server der Suchmaschine, wo ein zweites Anwendung, der so genannte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu weiteren Seiten). Die neuzeitlichen Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die durch die Webmaster selber bestehen wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick per Essenz einer Seite, dennoch setzte sich bald heraus, dass die Anwendung der Hinweise nicht vertrauenswürdig war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Vorführung des Seiteninhalts repräsentieren hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Kanten bei charakteristischen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller unterschiedliche Eigenschaften innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite passender in Serps gefunden wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Suchmaschinen sehr auf Punkte abhängig waren, die bloß in den Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr instabil für Delikt und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um überlegenere und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in Suchergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Betreiber der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Umständen angleichen. Weil der Riesenerfolg einer Anlaufstelle davon abhängig ist, wesentliche Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten ungünstige Ergebnisse darin resultieren, dass sich die Mensch nach sonstigen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umsehen. Die Erwiderung der Suchmaschinen fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rangfolge, die Merkmalen beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entworfenen mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo search – eine Suchseite, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Unterseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfließen ließ. Auch zusätzliche Suchmaschinen überzogen zu Gesprächsaufhänger der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. in Form der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Bing
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
